Crohn's Disease
Crohn's disease is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes the formation of lesions in the ascending colon, transverse colon, and distal ileum. These lesions involve all layers of the intestinal wall and are discontinuous, often separated by normal bowels.
Signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease include constant abdominal pain.
Risks of Crohn's disease include formation of gastrointestinal fistulas.
